Tribute.
always hear my grandfather saying that his greatest dream is to visit Puerto Rico, Borinquen as said his father, because this was their land, who came to Cuba, he met a very nice Cuban, my grandmother and married and then came a loving family, two flags of Cuba and Puerto Rico .
before calling Puerto Rico, In 1509 the conquistador Juan Ponce de Leon founded the first English settlement, Villa Caparra, named after city of Puerto Rico, and became its first governor, told me of the streets and rivers, valleys and mountains. So much love in his words to evoke the beautiful Puerto Rican soil.
always sitting in her wicker chair smoking his pipe, I sat at his feet and I delighted in his stories, his beloved Puerto Rico, like this how did the flag:
- The flag of Puerto Rico, was Pachín Marin who design with the colors of the Cuban flag in reverse, ie the red lists, two white and blue triangle - yes it's cute!, - I said, looks like ours, that Cubans and Puerto Ricans always said that Cuba and Puerto Rico are the two wings of a bird. That was when from Jamaica Pachín wrote to his friend Juan de Mata Terrefort, telling him to take the design of the Cuban flag with the colors reversed, and then gather in the Hall in a Chimney rally, a group of patriots and unanimously approved. He told me this man apart from love poetry, he also liked journalism, and it was a brave fighter, who fought with a maximum Gomez and died in the area of Turiguanó in November 1897, he crossed along the trail of Generalissimo Júcaro to Moron, and the ending was very sad, was less maso well:
- Once Maximo Gomez and his troops crossed the trail of a moron in 1896 Júcaro troops exhausted by hunger and thirst, were exhausted physically, mosquitoes and rain, caused diseases among the troops among them Francisco Gonzalo Marin, Pachin, as everyone knew him, he contracted malaria, was when the generalissimo, sent him back to Camaguey for a return , had also another ambitious project, an invasion of Puerto Rico that was being prepared. They say he asked his companions, given its gravity and the narrowness of the road, stretches uncomfortable to walk, to leave him and continue the march, and then return for him. There are rumors about his death, all point to an unhappy ending, which was a hammock strung between two yanas, near the marshes, and died there in 1897. He died on Cuban soil as announced in its verses, "wearing the emblem of the land of Martí."
- After his death his property was given to his friend Modesto Tirado, who took care of preparing his latest book of poetry, posthumously of course, genuine literature campaign. In the sand, very appropriately titled Tirado. Published in full jungle, in the press of El Cubano Libre, in the mountains of east, consists of 15 poems. Here are verses dedicated to Marti, Gomez and several companions fight, his father, and in general, patriotic premium content, including one entitled "The Emissary & # 8221; is very significant because it addresses an issue that will later celebrated the Peruvian César Vallejo's poem, "mass." In their stories
says my Grandpa to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico is mountainous and has many interesting places such as Fort San Cristobal and El Morro de San Juan, and there is a radio astronomy observatory in Arecibo, where Pachín Marín was born.
his father (my grandfather) was born in the city of Ponce, which has a very nice colonial architecture and is very near the Caribbean coast, with great shopping and great influx of tourism, there saved photos with pride of the times in which Paul My great grandfather lived there until his family emigrated to Cuba and here were the roots of which I am part of the family tree.
I laugh a lot when I realized his father's childhood, when they went to the beach in Luquillo, catching crabs, eating coconuts and playing pirates, much nostalgia for his roots, both even dream of visiting.
I had many things in Puerto Rico, his beloved Borinquen, the flag very similar to ours, something we never forget because my roots are there too.

perfect love. ------------------------

Seeking the perfect love, to find

not Adam and Eve I am inspired by much less
Romeo and Juliet, my paradigm is
Quixote and Rocinante.

I ride in his legs, rushing
bríoy I ride with enthusiasm
laugh with the whole body, while the air
beats our hair, in irreverent
race to catch the sun

share the dream or
life and live trapping is a big dream
the only good
declare no ties or signs, we
become the exclusive property of another.

From finding the right person
glad crazy couple emerge,
happy to righting wrongs and evils
to display their passion and find
contestation: the perfect love ...

From Tree Life-In 2011, the World Health Day ...

Health is one of the most precious for everyone, although not always keep good habits to enjoy it. The World Health Organization (WHO), beyond designating it as the absence of disease or illness is defined as "a state of complete physical, mental and social human being, which provides energy , vitality and lets you work, progress, and performed live in society with greater satisfaction.

Health is one of the fundamental basic human need and to enjoy the action of many social sectors, so we must include everyone in their care, either preserving our environment, and transmitting the values of care staff of alimentacióny healthier ways of exercise among the foundations of wellbeing.

Many health threats, lurking in the very places that should be safest: home, school, workplace and community. Hazards such as contaminated water, polluted air, lack of basic sanitation, disease vector insects, and various chemicals pose risks to health that affect everyone and a greater proportion of children. However, most related diseases preventable environmental instruments and strategies, inexpensive and sustainable, based on environmental education, and adopting appropriate lifestyles.

The World Health Organization (under the United Nations Organization) was created on 1 September 1948 to prevent serious illness and take care of matters relating to health worldwide. A proposal from the WHO, since 1950, establishing the World Health Day which is celebrated every April 7.

Every year this day is chosen for a specific health theme to to highlight a priority area of focus for WHO. For example, the priority issues in recent years were:

In 2008, the World Health Day focused on the need to protect health from the adverse effects of climate change. By selecting this theme was recognized that climate change poses an increasing threat to global health security.

for 2009 focused on the safety of health facilities and the preparation of health personnel serving those affected by emergencies.

The World Health Day 2010, with the theme of health urbanizacióny. As part of the campaign thousand cities, a thousand lives, cities were invited to open the streets and organize activities related to health.

World Health Day 2011: AMR 2011, the World Health Day, WHO will call for action to stop the spread of antimicrobial resistance through the adoption by all six countries policy measures to combat such resistance.

Likewise, the WHO launched a global campaign to protect these drugs for future generations. Antimicrobial resistance and its global spread is a threat to the continued effectiveness of many drugs used today, and can jeopardize the significant progress being achieved against some infections Morti important spheres.

Antimicrobial resistance: Unless we act today, tomorrow there will be no cure.

This campaign is very necessary for the increase has had in recent times, the adaptability of some infectious disease producing organisms, usually to drugs called antibiotics. This traditionally used drugs stop working and do not cure diseases that are already controlled by what would have to find a new medicine to cure and finding none, the disease would become incurable.

Amigas y Friends By Almas. I recently had the opportunity to participate in a wonderful workshop in Bayamo, Granma, back in the warm eastern Cuba. There I met the family "Arteducators" which Luvelo and Ludmila are founded around the Paisy beyond. I want to share the news that the friend of Holguín, Yailen Cisneros Campaign, wrote to the website of the House of Iberoamerica. There are going ... from the heart (iskra).

Arteducators Workshop

East
Cisneros Campaign For

Yailen Working with children involves not only follow the letter the famous maxim that were born to be happy. What wakes me up many questions: What does make you happy on the day of a child? Leave it playing and eating sweets all day? What demand children's education? How can we educate at an early age to a human being is part of a worn and chaotic world destruction? We are born with an intrinsic cultural base, the ancestral legacy of generations that precede us and it is necessary to encourage and ennoble this empirical knowledge to the cultural richness of our time, our daily living. It is not possible to speak of early childhood education does not include the game that is one of the most beneficial means of teaching, because through it is able to transmit knowledge from fantasy, confidence in the other, the sensitivity that comes from the simple things that make human existence.

The answers to many I found these questions last week in the Arteducators Training Workshop III: Game of the transformation, organized by the Hermanos Saiz Association for the eastern provinces. The city of Bayamo a group of youths arrived in Las Tunas, Holguin, Santiago, Granma, Guantanamo, Mexico and Guatemala to share with the workshop coordinators socio-cultural projects with children performed each ; you from different communities. At the forefront of this educational project is the president of the AHS of Havana: Luvelo Garcia who also coordinates the artistic and educational hummingbird, he arrives with his partner Lee Liudmila, Maikel Torres and little Lucas, a boy of 6 who ruffled our days while their parents work, Liudmila Luvelo and questioned us as explained concepts such as popular education in Latin America or the Cuban cultural policy.

The workshop brought the experiences of those who preceded him in the West and Midwest. In all of the same aims: to promote the artists and intellectuals Young construccióny a collective process of appropriation of an artistic conception pedagogical as well as the basic methodological elements liberating, participatory and transformative, to strengthen the socio-cultural work play an.

in Cuba today are developed countless artistic base practices targeting children and young people seeking to open spaces for solving the many problems that we at the sociocultural imposed by current conditions. Many of these practices need to strengthen their artistic work based on the educational development of genuine culture in young people and demand the application of different artistic languages as pedagogical tools, aesthetic and processing that affect the development of collective processes of inclusion, equity, dialogue and creativity. And that sucks Arteducators.

In a week that we were vampires, trees, boats, seeds, tastes and feelings of well-known texts discussed theorists like Paulo Freire, including "Fundamentals of the Educación Popular", "The grammar of fantasy" by Gianni Rodari "The practice of a street educator. " From reading issues addressed such sensitive issues as the role of art as a transformative tool, as a promoter of knowledge, languages, experiences and aesthetic tastes.

we vanished hours between games and participatory development that brought us together in a group rich in diverse ways of thinking, feeling and transmit from the culture. In just one week we build a common language, a narrative and a drama that was mounted on the playful work which closed our meeting. For it created a scenario, the puppets who gave life to their characters and sound effects that set the story.

Arteducators is a shot of love for the human essence of friendship and creativity, which learn by playing to rediscover the child in us, thought flexibility enhancing images, emotions , feelings and projects that have a dynamic center: the child. ****************************
